🏆 Our First Challenge!

First and foremost we hope everyone’s safe & healthy right now. At times, it’s been difficult for us to prioritize work with everything going on. Our entire team has shifted to working from home (as I’m sure most of you all have by now). But as social distancing becomes the new norm, new challenges have emerged.

We can lose connections with our co-workers. We can lose connections with our friends. And we can lose connections with our favorite small businesses. But as we thought more about how Adalo could help. We realized that no-coders have a unique set of superpowers at the moment. We can create simple apps that can help connect others and help save some of our favorite local businesses.

To encourage these types of apps, we’ve teamed up with NuCode to run ‘The #NoCodeConnectsUs Challenge’. Because we’re all connected by no-code and no-code has the power to connect everyone.

Oh yeah, one final note... the more people that make enter the larger the prize. With a chance for one lucky winner to lifetime access to Adalo Pro!

New Features

🌎 Maps

One of our most requested features is finally here! Sorry it took us a tad longer than we wanted but we were busy making it work natively for iOS, Android, & the web!

With our maps you can create a map with just a single location or add an interactive map with multiple pins. You can also allow your users to filter your maps and add their own pins by adding location names or specific addresses.

Finally, we’ve got all the styles you could want. Google has an amazing no-code map builder that our maps work perfectly with. So you can style them to your heart's content.

⚡ Conditional Actions

If you’re familiar with our change visibility feature where you can make any component show or hide based on a certain set of criteria, this new feature is a lot like that but for actions.

So you can now set actions to only happen under specific conditions. ‘i.e. Admin users go to this screen! All other users go to that screen!’ This makes branching & complex workflows a lot easier.

▶️ On Demand Publishing

In the past, whenever you wanted a new iOS or Android version of your app to publish, you’d have to email us and then we’d send you the new file. Now this process is completely automated.

It’s a game-changer for us and for you all. It’s now easier than ever for you to make small changes to your apps and push them out to app stores.

We’ve got a help doc for publishing to the Apple App Store and one for Google Play.

🌐 Custom Web Domains for PWAs

Just like with our web apps, you can now set your own website for your mobile app.

👯 New Share Page

Shiny new design for your app ready to share with the world! It’s also got QR codes so it’s easy for everyone to install your mobile app to their home screens.

Want a spreadsheet of your Adalo data? Mash that download button. Want to transfer data from some other source? Upload away.
